Session 1:

Title:  Current Trends in Public Entity Excess Markets

Description:  This program will feature a discussion concerning trends in the excess markets related to the impact of increasingly large settlements and verdicts in the sexual abuse and molestation arena, the increased cost of large fire related claims and the coverage positions taken by excess carriers.

Title:  Managing the Rising Exposure in Sexual Abuse Cases

Description:  The climate surrounding liability claims has certainly seen its fair share of change over the last couple of years. Schools, in particular, have begun to realize the struggle surrounding sexual abuse cases and the challenges they bring not only from a claims standpoint but from a reinsurance standpoint. This session will acknowledge some of the biggest risks in sexual abuse cases and provide useful risk management tools. This session will also address the tort claims process, legislation, and public record act requests as well as how to manage the media.

 

 

Cost: $35 (includes lunch)
